Why Akusta is the Preferred Choice for Automotive Interior Manufacturers?

Akusta steam-releasing flame retardant resin can be widely used for fire protection in automotive interiors, particularly in plastic components. This resin is suitable for various plastic materials inside the vehicle, such as dashboards, seat frames, door panels, center consoles, and window frames.

A Fusion of Soft and Hard Techniques

Akusta steam-releasing flame retardant resin comes in two different variants: 60H, which is rigid, and 70S, designed for use with flexible materials.

This allows it to be combined with soft materials such as artificial leather to enhance fire resistance. Currently, Akusta's Korean customer, Hyundai Motor, uses Akusta in combination with artificial leather for their seats, maintaining passenger comfort while providing ideal fire protection.

The application of this material not only enhances the fire safety of automotive interiors but also slows the spread of fire in the event of a fire inside the vehicle, providing more reliable protection for both drivers and passengers.

Engineered for Silence and Safety

Indeed, the inventor Uwe Stadt himself is an acoustics expert. When developing Akusta, he specifically focused on its sound insulation performance. The name "Akusta" was chosen for its connection to the English word "acoustic," reflecting its acoustic properties.

As a result, Akusta has gained the favor of automotive manufacturers not only for its outstanding fire-resistant properties but also for its unique sound insulation capabilities, which perfectly meet the dual demands of modern vehicles for comfort and safety. Whether reducing noise during driving or protecting lives and property in the event of a fire, Akusta has proven itself to be an indispensable partner in the industry through its exceptional performance.
